It’s hard to believe, but we’re already down to the last days of 2017. For the December newsletter, we’d like to take a moment and recap some of our favorite enhancements made over the last 12 months.
Performance Tracking Updates
- Executive Role was created for access to the Performance and Executive Summary
- Executive Summary was released for tracking collections activity from a high-level with month-to-month comparisons for the following metrics:
- Collection Effectiveness Index (CEI)
- Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Total past due at month end
- Total disputed at month end
- Percent of invoices paid on time vs. paid late
- Invoices paid through TermSync
- Collection calls logged
- Payment reminders sent
- PDF requests and customer messages received
- Option to establish performance goals was included in the Executive Summary
- DSO calculation was added as a KPI in the Performance Summary
Collections Management Updates
- Log-a-call interface was upgraded for optimal use of space and information
- Flexibility to choose the next follow-up date was added for collection calls
- The reason for required contact was added for clarity
- Logging a dispute was tied with the root-cause analysis for improved dispute management
- Task IDs were listed in all related emails for better inter-departmental communication
- Customized To-Do's were enhanced to show the listing for each saved filter
Your Customers' Experience
- Account statement delivery was enhanced with customized emails that include the statement as a PDF attachment
- Invoice Details section was upgraded with option to resend the invoice-PDF electronically with the click of a button
- Promise-to-pay summary email was included as an option to send to customer
- Promise-to-pay date was also included as optional column in the payment reminder
- Each customer's payment history was added by date of payment made in TermSync
Internationalization
- Multiple languages were added in TermSync which now includes Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish
- Esker partnered with BluePay to process electronic payments in the Canadian dollar (CAD)
- Esker also partnered with SlimPay to process direct debits in the Euro (known as SEPA) and in the Great Britain Pound (BACS)
