Organizing and prioritizing which customers to contact each day is time-consuming. With TermSync, you are automatically provided the list of customers to contact each day, known as your Collection calls needed.
Before you can rely on this listing, you need to set up your Call Log Rules that establish when a customer should be contacted based on how many days late they are and how much is owed.
Set Up Collection Call and Escalation Rules
1. Navigate to the Collection Calls tab and click on Collection Calls Needed.
2. From the Calls Needed listing, select Edit Call Log Rules in the top-right corner.
3. Once you've clicked to Edit Call Log Rules, you will notice default values. You can update each value to ensure these rules match your company's collection strategy.
a. The Escalation Rules allow you to escalate the call if the customer is over a certain balance and past due.
b. You may also want to utilize the Net Balance feature which takes open credits into consideration allowing your Calls Needed list to only reflect customers with a positive net balance.
4. Lastly, click Save Changes to Rules. Now your Collection Calls Needed list is based on the rules that you set up. These can be edited at anytime and customized at the collection group and individual customer level.
