When a collection call results in a promised payment, you can log and track these details within the Log Call popup.
1. Open the Log Call popup and choose the correlating invoices by checking all that apply (note: default setting will select all late invoices within customer's account) .
2. Select the contact method that applies and check Promised to Pay. The box will expand allowing for the future pay-date and payment amount to be entered.
3. Check Send Email Notification to deliver a summary of these payment details to the customer.
4. Submit these details by clicking Log a Call. Please note a Promised to Pay submission will remove the collection call assignment off of your To-Do List. It will only repopulate on your list if no payment has been received by the follow-up date (Pay by Date + Days after to recontact).
