Let's kick off 2019 with some great new features!
Collection Calls - Enhancements
In December, we released 4 new enhancements to make collecting easier. This month we are deploying 2 more. These are definitely the show stoppers!
- Delay Payment Reminder
- On the Log a Call page you can now delay a Payment Reminder by checking the box by Set payment reminders on hold until and then enter a date. If your customer made a promise to pay or is on a payment plan, you have the option to suspend their Payment Reminders. Instead of turning off Payment Reminders for a customer completely, push it out a few days or a week instead.
- You can see if a customer is on a Payment Reminder Hold in the Messages & Notes section. Additionally, you can edit or remove the hold.
- Collection Calls Needed - Bulk Actions
- Send Message to Customer
- You now have the ability to send your customers a message via a bulk action from your Collection Calls Needed list. This message will include a link for your customers to login and access their customer portal, just like a bulk action message from your Customer and Invoice Listing.
- Please Note: Messages from here will be logged as a collection call. This means the customer(s) will fall off your Collection Calls Needed list, and will re-enter based on your Call Log Rules.

- Defer Call
- The only change to deferring a call is the location. It is now housed in the bulk action drop-down along with the messages.
- Please Note: The Choose a bulk action will not appear until you've selected your customers. You can select one-by-one or click the top check-box to select all.

Messages - Account Statements
You can now attach the customer's Account Statement PDF to your emailed message as an attachment. This can be done in the following sections:
- Message & Notes
- Invoice Details
- Account Statement
- Additionally, the Send Link to Account Statement on the Account Statement page has changed to Send Account Statement.
- A link to view this account statement will be included with your message, but you have the option to include the PDF as well.
Filters/Scheduled Reports - Saving Options
When creating a new filter or editing an existing filter, you have the new options of Save As New Filter and Save As New Scheduled Report. This will allow you to create as new and not override any existing saved filter or report. If you don't want to save these as a new, you can Save Filter or Save Scheduled Report to override preferences set on an existing filter or report. You'll be able to better organize and create/save filters and reports.
New Year's Resolution
Did you make a New Year's resolution? If so, good for you! Though, why not do the same in your AR solution by setting goals?

- Set your goal on each graph for DSO, CEI, etc
- Performance Dashboard
- Set your Collections Goal
- Collection Calls Listing
- Do you send collector data on your Open AR file, or do you split responsibility by Collection Groups? If so, you can encourage and challenge your team based on daily, weekly, or monthly collections goals with the data from the Collection Calls Listing to pull metrics on individual performance.
